Ich bin hier in Fuvamulah. Fuvamulah ist momentan der »Place to be» wegen der hier ansässigen Tigerhaie. Ich bin skeptisch was Haifütterungstauchgänge angeht und möchte mir selber mal ein Bild machen. Ist das verantwortungsvoll? Kann ich das unterstützen oder lass ich es nächstes Mal lieber bleiben? Ohne es gesehen zu haben kann ich das nicht beurteilen und lasse mich deshalb darauf ein.

Kommt mit mir auf dieses Abenteuer und mache dir auch selber ein Bild.

I am here in Fuvamulah. Fuvamulah is currently the "place to be" because of the resident tiger sharks. I am skeptical about shark feeding dives and would like to see it myself. Is this responsible? Can I support it or do I rather leave it next time? Without having seen it myself I can't judge it and that's why I'm going for it.

Only one in a thousand makes it to sexual maturity. When turtles are hatching predators are already waiting for them. They run and swim for their life and when they reach the open sea their "lost years" start. We don't really know where the go in their first years.

Matthew Walker, Biologist takes us on a dangerous journey with the baby turtles.

What a diversity! Pristine corals, caves, pygmy seahorse, manta rays, sharks, huge schools of jacks, batfish and fusiliers, bumphead parrot fish, wobbegongs, ghost pipe larve and and and. This is the center of biodiversity. THE CORAL TRIANGLE.

On the Elysium Trip with Ocean Geographic a few years ago I was so lucky to meet all these special animals, diving through these absolutly crazy reefs and witness its diversity and beauty.

After these two days, the mood was incredible hight. The fifth episode goes back to Wolf. We already know a bit what expect us. A Galapagos liveaboard always goes twice to Wolf. So there is a bigger chance of seeing different animals. . In addition to hammerheads, eagle rays and the cave, Wolf awaits us with another surprise.

Nach diesen tollen zwei Tagen steig die Stimmung ins Unermessliche. In der 5. Folge geht es nochmals zurück nach Wolf. Wir wissen also schon ein bisschen was uns erwartet. Neben Hammerhaien, Eagle Rays und der Höhle wartet Wolf mit einer weiteren Überraschung.
Zum Abschluss von Wolf, betauchen wir noch die Höhle “Secret Cave”, die eine willkommene Abwechslung darstellt und mal etwas ganz anderes ist.

Thats the craziest thing I've ever filmed and seen. A Jellyfish eating two fish. One is not enough. The fish fights until the end, but there is no escape. This was on a blackwater dive in Indonesia and I followed it until the end. That was really breathtaking and thrilling to watch and film.

The dives around Manuk Island - Snake Island are thrilling. Everywhere are banded sea kraits swimming around. I love how the snakes are moving. It looks so elegant. Diving with snakes is so impressive.

A collection of my turtle shots. It's always nice to see a turtle during diving. Especially when they are eating or cleaning and don't care about a videographer filming them. Thanks turtles for that awesome footage. 😉

On a crossing in the Banda Sea with Dive Damai on a Ocean Geographic Trip, I had the chance to film Blue Whales with my drone. I got an adrenaline rush. Flying a drone and observing Blue Whales is not a everyday thing, as this is the the largest animal ever lived on our planet. How amazing is that.

This was an awesome dive. I think my best dive ever. The dolphins were with us the whole dive, came and left again and played with us. It was a great encounter. I love these animals.

Ellie Germanov is a Manta Researcher and works for Marine Megafauna Foundation.

Her primary goal is to better understand what implications plastic pollution has on filter-feeding megafauna, such as manta rays, when larger pieces of plastic debris break down into microplastic. Through this project Ellie hopes to raise awareness of the growing large-scale global problem that is plastic marine debris in our ocean, with the aim to influence local, action and policy change.

The Passage is a very special divesite in Raja Ampat. The unique topographie with all its caves and a huge amount of seafans and blackcorals makes it a little bit mystical. The strong current brings in a lot of nutrient and so can drift througt the channel, which I great fun.

Ice Diving in Lake Baikal. We started in Listvjanka and dived under the Ice. It was sooo freezing cold I thought my lips and my fingers will freeze. It felt like a brain freeze. But after a few minutes it got better and after 25min we were done and had to go out of the water to heat up again. But it was an expierience and who can tell that he did Ice Diving in Siberia? 😉
