Normally on a day like today Lucerne would be crowded. Full of tourists, roaring traffic, stressed people everywhere, streets full of shoppers, buying whatever is on sale…. BUT…
Today it was a historical day. First day of Corona “Lockdown” in Switzerland. In Lucerne.
The Chapel Bridge, Schwanenplatz, Lake promenade and the city center were empty. A quiet, peaceful city… I got a little thoughtful. Can less be more? What do we really need? Let’s have a break and think about that one question. “What do we really need?”
